Sarita Otero
Sara Alejandra Otero-Platas García (~1936–2023), from Tepoztlán, Morelos — Mexico's longest-running contactee. She claimed to receive daily telepathic messages since 1972 (~50 years) from the 'Guardians of the Universe', beings of 'Dimension 21' led by the entity Alaniso. She founded the civil association Guardianes del Universo A.C. (with a European branch), published books, audio messages and DVDs, and appeared on 2000s Mexican broadcast TV (Viva la Mañana).
What is claimedHer followers consider her 'Mexico's greatest contactee': half a century of messages of peace, ecology and respect for life (vegetarianism), with her own doctrine and an organized community. After her death (announced by her official channel in May 2023) the movement continues — her family and followers now spread 'messages from Sarita from another dimension': the contactee became a channeled entity.
Skeptical viewNo verifiable evidence supports the contact. Skeptic Martín Fragoso (EL DETRACTOR, 2012) especially questioned her healings via 'extraterrestrial techniques' without medical training — an unsupported health claim, not evidence. Rompiendo Mitos (2007) grouped her in Mexican TV's 'charlatan boom' and documented paid conferences (~$150 MXN per person). Her central prediction for Dec 21, 2012 failed (see Alaniso).
