David Clarke

British journalist and academic researcher (Sheffield Hallam University), former consultant-curator of the Ministry of Defence UFO files at The National Archives. A methodical but non-dogmatic skeptic who works from primary documents. He hunted the Calvine photo from 2009 until recovering it in 2022 from Craig Lindsay, the RAF press officer who kept it for 32 years; he coordinated its academic analysis and donated it to his university's collections. He has also published the MoD's Rendlesham files and the interview with Colonel Conrad.
