Mexican Air Force infrared video (Campeche, 2004)

On March 5, 2004, pilots of the 501st Squadron in a Merlin C26A on an anti-drug patrol near Ciudad del Carmen recorded up to 11 objects invisible to the naked eye on a FLIR sensor; 3 also appeared on radar.

What is claimedMulti-sensor (FLIR + radar) recording by the military, released by SEDENA and spread worldwide by Jaime Maussan (AP, CNN, Reuters). It happened 8 months before the US Navy Tic-Tac.
Skeptical viewThe Center for Inquiry (Skeptical Inquirer) and a former pilot attribute the heat signatures to flames from Gulf oil platforms (50–90 km away). There is no consensus.
