SUBJECT: "Flying Dises" - Report of.

is The Director of Intelligence, U.S. Air Force has informed
the Navy Department that a cycle of reappearance of "Flying Discs" is be-
coming epparent, and that the begining of a new interval is imminent.
They have requested that any such sightings be reported as quickly as Ss
possible, and that these phenomene be investigated. Ss
2. It is requested, therefore, that all stations be directed 8
to report to the nearest Air Force command and to the Navel District
Intelligence Office any renorted sighting of "Pl ying Discs" or other ™Q\

unidentified aerial objects. It is desired, elso, that photographic
: evidence of the phenomene be obtained whenever possible.

3s DIO's will forward such information to the Chief of Navel
Intclligenee who will pess the information to the Dircetor of Intelligence
U.S. Air Force by the festest means.
